Style® Bamboo Floors are incredibly durable and even stronger than most hardwoods. Made using strand woven bamboo, Style Bamboo Flooring is harder than most popular timber flooring including Iron Bark, Spotted Gum, Brush Box and Jarrah. The result is an environmentally friendly product that has the look and feel of traditional timber flooring, but with unrivalled performance and at a competitive price.

Style Bamboo Flooring is pre-finished with six UV coatings, requires no further sanding or finishing and comes in a range of contemporary colours to match any interior. The six UV topcoats are scratch resistant and help block harmful rays from the sun to protect the bamboo floor from fading over time. For peace of mind Style Bamboo Floors come with a 20 year structural warranty and 10 year coating warranty for residential applications.

Installing Style Bamboo Flooring is quick and easy, has no toxic fumes and causes minimal disruption to the homeowner. Style Bamboo Floors are available in two product offerings. Style Lock Bamboo Flooring, which is a DIY floating floor solution and comes in a 130 mm wide floorboard with the patented Uniclic® glue and nail-free system. And Style T&G Bamboo Flooring, which is a traditional tongue and groove, strip flooring solution and comes in a 96 mm wide floorboard.

Style Bamboo Flooring is an attractive alternative to hardwood floors as the product is sourced from the forests of a fully sustainable, environmentally friendly and rapidly growing renewable resource. Naturally self-generating, bamboo grows to maturity within five years and is regarded as the strongest wood plant on earth. With forest resources under continued environmental pressure, Style Bamboo Flooring is a natural selection for your next building project.

Environmental Impact

Currently forest resources are seriously depleted and the ecological environment is getting worse; people must stop using non-renewable timber. Because bamboo is environmentally friendly, it will no doubt become an increasingly popular material in the 21st century.

Bamboo is a rapidly renewable resource; it is self-regenerating, growing to maturity and achieving optimum hardness in approximately 5 years. It has high carbon absorption rates and releases oxygen into the atmosphere. There is both minimum waste and minimal pollution in its harvesting and production - all parts of the bamboo plant are utilized to produce a multitude of products. It is also highly termite resistant. Bamboo products are harder and more resistant to moisture than popular hard woods such as Red Oak and Cherry.

Some people have expressed concern that the natural habitat and food supply of Pandas will be harmed by bamboo product manufacture. The species of bamboo used for our products (Mao or Moso bamboo) is very different to that sought by Pandas and manufacture of our products has no negative impact on the Pandas environment.

Style Product Range

Style® Bamboo Flooring compares favourably with traditional solid select timber floors such as Jarrah and Black Butt. Given it is already sanded and finished with durable coatings; is capable of being quickly installed ready for use; has no toxic fumes; provides minimal disruption to the homeowner; and its price advantage, Style bamboo floors are creating significant interest for their aesthetic and other performance qualities over existing hard wood alternatives.

In summary, Style Bamboo Flooring provides a highly competitive commercial timber floor. Our easy to lay strand woven Style Lock Bamboo Flooring (floating floor with Uniclic® System) and Style T&G Bamboo Flooring are already sanded and pre-polished with three coats of Aluminium Oxide and UV cured to avoid the unnecessary mess and dangerous fumes normally associated with on-site sanding and polishing. This results in reduced overall installation costs and adds to the attraction of this innovative bamboo flooring solution.

Therapeutic benefits of bamboo flooring include a reduced chance of developing back, hip, knee, and ankle problems. It’s very suitable for our tropical and subtropical conditions because, unlike wood, it does not expand and contract in response to changes in temperature and humidity.

We specialise in bamboo flooring for Australian conditions in three (natural) colours; natural, coffee and suede. Also available in stained colours: Sienna, Autumn, Flint, Gunstock and Saddle.

Style Specifications

The strand woven bamboo boards are very hard and durable. In independently conducted tests the natural colour rated as 14.3kN on the Janka test and the coffee colour rated 15.3kN. These ratings compare very favourably with Jarrah for example at 8.6kN and the normal laminated bamboo flooring at 6.9kN to 8.5kN

Our flooring is nearly twice as hard as Jarrah and with no sanding so you get a lot more for your dollar with strand woven technology.

We offer the world a renewable resource product that has the look and feel of a hard wood conventional floor BUT with the renewable resource theme AND one of the hardest timber flooring products in the world.
